Kobukan International Training Camp: April 4 through April 7, 2024

Join us at the Kobukan International Training Camp in Fort Smith, Arkansas, for an immersive experience in Shorin Ryu, White Crane, and Street Self-Defense training. This camp is an excellent opportunity for instructors and students from across the country to visit our headquarters dojo, interact with local students, and network with fellow members. Don’t miss this chance to enhance your skills and connect with the Kobukan community!

Event Highlights:

  • Intensive Training: Led by Kobukan Black Belts.

  • Accommodation: Each student will have their own hotel room (double queen) at the premium Marriott Courtyard Hotel.

  • Free Gear: Attendees will receive two free CHIZIKUN sticks for the seminar.

Cost:

  • Early Bird Rate: $479 per student, including 3 nights of lodging and access to all camp events. Family members can stay with you at no additional charge. This rate is good for registration before March 1st, 2024.

  • Full Rate: $579 per room after March 1st.

  • I joined the federation in 2020 and have been learning traditional Karate from Hanshi Vellucci since then. His training focused on logical and practical self-defense techniques. Its practicality and usefulness can be tested. Private training (online and in person) is always full of knowledge and information (more than I can take), which helps me develop a lot further in martial arts.

    There are many members and students in the federation (also Hanshi Vellucci himself) who are/were trained and experienced police officers and military personnel. This assures me that the federation is teaching techniques that are effective for real combat and real self-defense situations. I even traveled from Europe to the USA to attend the annual training camp; it was a fantastic experience! I hope to learn much more in many years in the future.
